Two Semiconductor Facilities Operational As India Strengthens Chip Ecosystem: Vaishnaw
New Delhi, June 18 -- India is making steady progress towards becoming a global semiconductor manufacturing hub, with two semiconductor facilities already operational and two more set to become functional this year, Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said. Two Semiconductor Plants Begin Commercial Production Speaking at an event in Ranjangaon, Pune, Vaishnaw said the semiconductor plants of Micron Technology and Kaynes Semicon have commenced commercial production, reported Economic Times.
