Jaipur, March 20 -- The Union Ministry of Textiles has set up a Textile Export Facilitation Centre (TEFC) in Jaipur to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in accessing global markets and strengthening export competitiveness.
The centre aims to bridge the gap between production and exports by providing end-to-end support services, including market intelligence, information on trade agreements, export incentives, and risk assessment, reported The Times Of India.
Jaipur has been selected as one of six pilot locations for such centres, alongside key textile hubs such as Surat, Karur, Ichalkaranji, Varanasi, and Ludhiana.
