South India Outpaces North Across Major Auto Segments In Q1FY27, Led by Strong Demand: Kotak Report
New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- South India outperformed the Northern region across all major automobile segments in the first quarter of FY27, with broad-based demand growth supported by GST revisions and regional consumption patterns, according to a Kotak Institutional Equities report.
The report identified three key trends: strong demand across segments and regions following GST cuts, relatively stronger performance in the South and weaker growth in the North, and a continued shift towards scooters driven by electrification, ANI reported.
