Jaipur, July 10 -- The Rajasthan government has signed a framework agreement with the International Solar Alliance (ISA) to advance clean energy and sustainable development, becoming the first Indian state to enter into such a partnership with the 128-member body.

The agreement was signed by Rajasthan's Energy Secretary Aarti Dogra and ISA Director General Ashish Khanna in the presence of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, ET reported.
