Jaipur, March 2 -- Rajasthan's Industries Department has decentralised the approval process for the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme and MSME units to facilitate faster clearances and broader outreach.
Under the new system, General Managers of District Industries and Commerce Centres (DICCs) will directly scrutinise and approve applications. Earlier, proposals were routed through district-level task force committees.
Industries Commissioner Suresh Kumar Ola said, "With these committees now dissolved and the power transferred to DICC general managers, applications will no longer await periodic meetings, significantly reducing processing time and accelerating benefit disbursal," TOI reported.
