Lucknow, Oct. 21 -- Rae Bareli is witnessing an industrial transformation driven by railway coach manufacturing, the expansion of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and fresh investment proposals, with the Modern Coach Factory (MCF) at Lalganj emerging as a key growth driver.

Modern Coach Factory Records Highest-Ever Production

MCF recorded its highest-ever annual production of 2,126 coaches in FY26, up from 2,025 coaches in FY25. The factory also completed its first Vande Bharat trainset, expanding its role in India's passenger coach manufacturing sector.
