New Delhi, May 11 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday laid the foundation stone, inaugurated and dedicated development projects worth around Rs 9,400 crore in Telangana, covering industrial infrastructure, highways, rail connectivity, textiles and energy facilities.
Among the key projects announced was the development of the Zaheerabad Industrial Smart City, aimed at strengthening manufacturing activity and attracting investment with integrated infrastructure, power supply and digital connectivity facilities.
The project is part of the Centres industrial corridor expansion programme and is expected to support sectors such as engineering, machinery and food processing.
