Piyush Goyal Invites Japanese Financial Institutions to Step Up Long-Term Investments in India
New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal held discussions with leading Japanese financial institutions in Tokyo on expanding long-term investment flows and increasing Japanese institutional participation in India.
The meeting included representatives from MUFG, Development Bank of Japan, Mizuho, Morgan Stanley, Nomura and Nippon Life, with discussions focusing on India's economic outlook, investment opportunities and measures to facilitate capital inflows.
