New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal invited Japanese businesses to deepen investments and partnerships in India, highlighting opportunities in manufacturing, technology, infrastructure, energy and emerging sectors.

Speaking at a dinner hosted by the Uttar Pradesh Government for a Japanese delegation from Yamanashi Prefecture in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Goyal said Uttar Pradesh offers a strong platform for Japanese technology and expertise, supported by its large workforce, improving connectivity and expanding market.
