New Delhi, March 17 -- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has received nine bids for the proposed six-laning of the Jaipur Kishangarh section of NH-48 in Rajasthan.

The project spans nearly 90 km between Jaipur and Kishangarh and will be implemented under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode. It was approved in February 2026 and is expected to be awarded within this financial year.

The upgrade is designed to transform the corridor into a semi access-controlled highway, with provisions for flyovers and vehicular underpasses at key junctions, along with continuous service and slip roads.
