Navy Chief Begins Four-Day Mauritius Visit to Strengthen Maritime Cooperation
New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Krishna Swaminathan began a four-day official visit to Mauritius on August 10, with discussions scheduled on maritime security, defence cooperation, capacity building and military collaboration.
During the visit, Admiral Swaminathan is scheduled to meet senior officials of the Mauritian government and hold discussions on matters of mutual interest, including maritime security and bilateral defence cooperation.
The visit is part of India's ongoing maritime engagement with Mauritius and follows Admiral Swaminathan's assumption of office as Chief of the Naval Staff.
