Lucknow, Sept. 3 -- The MSME sector has significant potential to generate employment after agriculture and strengthen local economies, Jhansi Divisional Commissioner Bimal Kumar Dubey said while inaugurating a two-day vendor development programme for MSMEs on Wednesday.

Organised by the MSME Development Office, Kanpur, under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, in association with the Bundelkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), the programme featured over 15 stalls by PSUs, government departments, banks and MSME units showcasing products and services.
