New Delhi, July 10 -- Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manjhi reviewed the implementation of the Ministry's flagship MSME schemes in Puducherry during his visit on July 8-9 and urged banks to facilitate greater access to institutional credit for MSMEs.

He also called on all stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of government initiatives to support the sector's growth.

The Minister chaired a review meeting with officials from the Ministry of MSME, Government of Puducherry, NSIC, SIDBI, Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Coir Board, State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), MSME associations and other stakeholders.
