Bhopal, April 25 -- The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has notified the fifth amendment to its 2021 renewable energy regulations, introducing stricter compliance norms and an enhanced trajectory for renewable energy adoption across Madhya Pradesh.
The amendment, effective from the date of publication in the state gazette, focuses on revising Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO) and strengthening monitoring mechanisms for obligated entities, including discoms, open access consumers and captive users.
