Mumbai, March 9 -- The Government of Maharashtra will establish a dedicated commissionerate for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector in Mumbai, aimed at strengthening policy implementation and expanding support for enterprises across the state.
The announcement was made by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis while presenting the Maharashtra Budget 2026 27. He said the government will also set up a separate commissionerate for the service sector, with both institutions to be headquartered in Mumbai, reported The Times Of India.
