New Delhi, April 24 -- The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has welcomed Japans decision to review its framework governing the transfer of defence equipment and technology, calling it a positive step for strengthening bilateral security ties.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal told the media, India welcomes Japan's review of the three principles on the transfer of defence equipment and technology. Defence and security cooperation form an important pillar of the India-Japan special strategic and global partnership, as quoted by ANI.
