New Delhi, Nov. 5 -- Domestic and international companies have discussed investment opportunities worth around USD 400 billion in India's renewable energy sector during the CEO roundtable at the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit (BRE) 2026, Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi said on Wednesday.

The proposed investment opportunities are significantly higher than the government's target of attracting around USD 220 billion in the sector by 2030. Joshi noted that the ministry was compiling details of the discussions, including participating companies and their proposed investments.
