India's Trade Rises To USD 1,843.7 Billion In FY26, Deficit Narrows To USD 117.6 Billion
New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- India's total trade increased to USD 1,843.7 billion in FY 2025-26 from USD 1,674.4 billion in FY23, while the trade deficit narrowed to USD 117.6 billion from USD 121.6 billion over the same period, the government informed the Rajya Sabha.

Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada said the trade deficit accounted for 6.4 percent of total trade in FY26, compared with 7.3 percent in FY23.
India's total exports, including merchandise and services, stood at USD 863.1 billion in FY26, while imports were USD 980.7 billion.
