India's Pharma Exports Hit USD 8.10 Bn In Q1 FY27, Up 6.8% YoY: Pharmexcil
New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- India's pharmaceutical exports increased 6.8 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to USD 8.10 billion in the first quarter of FY27, compared with USD 7.58 billion in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, according to data from the Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil).
The growth was driven by higher shipments across several key product categories, including vaccines, bulk drugs and drug intermediates.
Pharmexcil said product diversification, regulatory compliance and expansion into new markets will be crucial to sustaining the momentum in pharmaceutical exports, ANI reported.
