India's Merchandise Exports Grow Over 15% In April-August, Cross USD 200 Bn: Goyal
New Delhi, Sept. 10 -- India's merchandise exports grew by more than 15 per cent year-on-year during April-August, taking goods exports comfortably above the USD 200 billion mark in the first five months of FY2026-27, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said.
"Despite all the global turmoil that the world is going through today, I am happy to share that our merchandise exports have grown by upwards of 15 per cent between April and August," Goyal said at the BRICS Women's Business Alliance Summit in New Delhi.
India's merchandise exports stood at USD 183 billion during April-August of the previous financial year. In April-July 2026, merchandise exports had already risen 17 per cent year-on-year to USD 174 billion, according to official data....
