New Delhi, April 20 -- Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan and Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Sunday discussed a proposal to connect the two countries through an oil pipeline, as part of efforts to strengthen energy cooperation. The discussions took place during Radhakrishnans visit to Sri Lanka, with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stating that both sides reviewed ongoing initiatives, including the proposed energy hub in Trincomalee and enhanced connectivity in the energy sector.
