New Delhi, March 2 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held bilateral talks with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at Hyderabad House, focusing on deepening cooperation under the India-Canada Strategic Partnership.
The two leaders reviewed progress across key sectors and signed several agreements, including a landmark pact on long-term uranium supply for India's civil nuclear energy programme.
"We have struck a landmark deal for long-term uranium supply. We will also work together on small modular reactors and advanced reactors," PM Modi said, PTI reported.
