New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- The Income Tax e-Filing Portal has introduced a dedicated mechanism for taxpayers to report corruption and alleged misconduct by departmental officials.

The facility allows complainants to provide details including the name and designation of the concerned officer, along with a description of the incident.

Complaints Can Be Filed Online

The grievance mechanism includes categories such as corruption, misbehaviour, harassment and sexual harassment, providing taxpayers with a structured channel to report inappropriate conduct by tax officials.

Taxpayers Can Submit Complaints Through e-Filing Portal
