Mumbai, May 26 -- Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Tata Motors have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to pilot a structured and scalable model for the collection and recycling of used automotive lubricants, supporting India's circular economy ambitions and compliance with evolving Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations. The partnership aims to create an organised and traceable system for managing used lubricants, which are classified as hazardous waste, covering the entire value chain from collection and storage to recycling and reuse.
