New Delhi, June 3 -- The Parliamentary Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Power, chaired by Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, met in Chandigarh to review issues related to grid stability amid rising electricity demand and increasing renewable energy integration besides other pressing issues related to the sector.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Power Shripad Yesso Naik, Members of Parliament, senior officials of the Ministry of Power and representatives of key power sector institutions, including the Central Electricity Authority, Grid Controller of India Limited and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited.
