Haryana Offers MSMEs Up To Rs 20 Lakh Subsidy For Cleaner DG Sets, Boilers
Chandigarh, Aug. 22 -- The Haryana Government has introduced subsidy schemes to help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) adopt cleaner diesel generator (DG) sets and industrial boilers as part of efforts to reduce air pollution.
Under the DG set scheme, MSMEs will be eligible for reimbursement of 50 percent of the cost of new DG sets meeting Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) emission standards, subject to a maximum of Rs 20 lakh.
The scheme, notified by the Industry and Commerce Department on August 19, targets the installation of 1,400 new DG sets in Gurugram and Faridabad, reported The Tribune.
