New Delhi, March 17 -- The government has taken many steps to promote handloom exports from the country by enhancing its competitiveness in the global markets, Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh said while reply to a question in Lok Sabha.

The Minister highlighted that handloom exports to countries such as the United States, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, France and United Kingdom have shown varying trends between 2022 23 and 2024 25, reflecting shifting global demand patterns.
