New Delhi, July 25 -- The Ministry of Heavy Industries has not conducted any assessment on the adoption of energy-efficient technologies in the heavy industry sector, but is implementing several schemes to promote advanced manufacturing, electric mobility and clean technologies, the Rajya Sabha was informed.

Minister of State for Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma said the initiatives cover sectors including automobiles, engineering goods and capital equipment manufacturing.
