New Delhi, April 22 -- Government-owned GAIL (India) Limited has flagged off its LNG carrier Energy Fidelity from the Sabine Pass LNG Terminal, marking a step toward strengthening Indias cleaner fuel supply chain.

The vessel, with a carrying capacity of 174,000 cubic metres, was flagged off on April 20 and is currently en route to India. The ceremony was presided over by D C Manjunath, Indias Consul General in Houston.

He said, This ceremony symbolises the robust and growing India-US energy partnership, a relationship built on the shared priorities of reliability, innovation, and long-term security, adding that the initiative also aligns with Indias focus on the 3Ts — Trade, Technology and Tourism, reported PTI.
