E-Commerce Can Give Small-Town MSMEs Greater Access To Global Markets: Experts
New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- Government measures to promote exports through e-commerce could provide a major boost to businesses in small towns by helping artisans, traders and MSMEs access international markets, experts said.
Products across sectors such as handlooms, handicrafts and jewellery could benefit from the wider global reach offered by e-commerce platforms, reported PTI.
"E-commerce is allowing a seller in Karur, Panipat, Jaipur, Moradabad or Tiruppur to reach overseas buyers much earlier in its growth journey," said Gaurav Shishodia, Vice President and Country Manager, Payoneer India.
