New Delhi, March 25 -- The governments Districts as Export Hubs (DEH) initiative is being implemented across all states and union territories to boost local exports and strengthen district-level economic activity, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada said in a written reply in Lok Sabha.
Under the initiative, State Export Promotion Committees (SEPCs) and District Export Promotion Committees (DEPCs) have been set up across all 36 States and Union Territories.
Draft District Export Action Plans (DEAPs) have been prepared for 590 districts, of which 249 have been formally notified by respective DEPCs.
