New Delhi, June 9 -- Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal launched the BHAVYA (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana) portal to accelerate the development 100 investment-ready industrial parks across the country.

The scheme, approved by the Union Cabinet with an outlay of Rs 33,660 crore, aims to create integrated industrial parks over six years with multimodal connectivity, utility infrastructure, digital governance systems and worker-support facilities.

Under the programme, states will submit project proposals outlining industrial strengths, land availability and sectoral potential, with projects selected through a competitive framework.
