New Delhi, July 28 -- The Ministry of Power is not considering any proposal for a new generation of the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE 2.0), the government informed the Rajya Sabha.

Minister of State for Power Shripad Naik said the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE), one of the missions under the National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC), continues to promote energy efficiency through policy and market-based mechanisms, including the Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) programme.
