Aizwal, July 4 -- The Union government has assured Mizoram of support for establishing an MSME Technology Centre in the state to promote skill development, entrepreneurship and industrial growth.

The assurance was given by Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manjhi during a meeting with Mizoram's Minister for Labour, Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Lalnghinglova Hmar in New Delhi.

According to an official statement, Manjhi said the Ministry of MSME would extend the necessary support once the state government completes the required proposals and formalities for setting up the centre, reported PTI.
