Centre Approves Rs 13,427 Crore for 11.19 Lakh PMAY-G Houses in Bihar
Patna, Aug. 21 -- The Centre has approved 11,18,937 pucca houses for Bihar under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), involving an allocation of Rs 13,427 crore.
The announcement was made by Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan at a state-level PMAY-G programme in Patna.
In addition to housing, Chouhan announced the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) in Bihar, plans to establish She-Marts to support products made by women's self-help groups, and highlighted the State's progress in creating 53.83 lakh Farmer IDs.
