New Delhi, March 30 -- The Central Government has authorised an ad hoc allocation of Public Distribution System (PDS) Superior Kerosene Oil (SKO) to States and Union Territories to support household cooking and lighting needs, amid disruptions in global energy supplies linked to the ongoing West Asia conflict.
The move includes allocation to 21 States and UTs that were previously declared kerosene-free, marking a temporary reversal aimed at ensuring energy security.
