New Delhi, July 31 -- The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) facilitated the first air shipment of Neelam and Totapuri mangoes from Karnataka to the Maldives, with the consignment flagged off on July 30, 2026.

The one-metric-tonne consignment comprised Neelam and Totapuri mangoes sourced directly from farmers associated with M/s Prakruthimaya Farmers Producer Company Ltd. in KGF Taluk, Kolar district, Karnataka. The shipment was exported by Ashwini A, Director of M/s Ahalya Devi Ventures.

The consignment was flagged off by APEDA Chairman Abhishek Dev, IAS. The shipment involved farmers, a Farmer Producer Company and an exporter, with the mangoes aggregated directly from participating farmers. ...
