New Delhi, May 18 -- Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid foundation stones for various civic and infrastructure projects worth Rs 620 crore undertaken by the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation in Gujarat.

The projects are related to multiple civic and infrastructure works aimed at improving public amenities and urban infrastructure in Gandhinagar.

Addressing the gathering, Shah said the development journey initiated in Gujarat under Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his tenure as Chief Minister continues across the state.

He said the Gujarat government and the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation have undertaken several initiatives focused on urban development and public welfare.
