Lucknow, Sept. 28 -- Uttar Pradesh is expanding its presence in artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, electronics and technology, with the state government working to build an integrated ecosystem for manufacturing, research and innovation, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada said.

Speaking at the UP International Trade Show 2026 session on 'UP's Journey from Electronics Leader to AI and Semiconductor Powerhouse', Prasada said technology and trade would remain key drivers of economic growth and highlighted efforts to expand technology-led development beyond Noida.
