New Delhi, July 13 -- Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will undertake a two-day visit to West Bengal on July 13-14 to review the implementation of agriculture and rural development programmes and hold discussions with the state government.

During the visit, Chouhan is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, followed by a high-level review meeting with senior state and central government officials in Kolkata.

The review will cover the implementation of major schemes, including PM-KISAN, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana, Minimum Support Price (MSP) operations, Viksit Bharat-GRAM G, rural roads, housing initiatives and Panchayati Raj funding.
