New Delhi, Aug. 20 -- The Aadhaar App has crossed 5 crore downloads, with users increasingly accessing Aadhaar-related services digitally, including mobile number, address and email updates, UIDAI said.

More than 60 lakh users have updated their mobile numbers, over 15 lakh have updated their addresses, and more than 23 lakh have updated their email IDs through the app. The platform also offers services such as biometric lock and unlock and e-Aadhaar download.

The app follows a "Show, Share and Verify" approach, allowing Aadhaar holders greater control over the sharing of their identity information.
