Afghanistan, May 26 -- Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Monday that Ukraine is working with international partners to strengthen its air defense systems, calling the issue Kyiv's highest current priority.
In a statement posted on X, Zelensky said global anti-ballistic missile capabilities have become limited because of the war involving Iran and broader regional tensions, but stressed that solutions must still be found.
The Ukrainian president said Kyiv is pushing to accelerate anti-ballistic missile production in Europe to ensure sufficient defensive capabilities remain available for Ukraine and its allies.
