Afghanistan, April 9 -- White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Donald Trump will not accept what she called Iran's terms for a deal, rejecting speculation that Washington is softening its position before expected talks.
She said Trump's red line remains unchanged; Iran must end uranium enrichment on its own soil. Leavitt said the next two weeks will be critical for quiet diplomacy, but stressed that any agreement must serve U.S. interests and keep the Strait of Hormuz open without disruption. She also warned against what she called false media narratives, saying Iran's public messaging differs sharply from what it says privately to U.S. officials.
