Afghanistan, July 26 -- Concerns over dwindling US stocks of air-defence munitions in the Middle East may be influencing President Donald Trump's decision not to significantly escalate military strikes against Iran, The New York Times reported, citing US officials.
The newspaper reported on Saturday night, July 25, that expanding the conflict could further deplete the US military's reduced stocks of Patriot interceptor missiles and other air-defence systems deployed to protect American troops and facilities across the region.
