Afghanistan, July 23 -- The United States has carried out a 12th consecutive night of strikes against Iran, targeting what US Central Command (CENTCOM) described as Iranian military capabilities, as tensions between Washington and Tehran continue to rise over the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM said early Thursday, July 23, that US forces had completed another round of strikes on targets in Iran. According to the command, the attacks focused on Iranian maritime capabilities, missile and drone storage facilities, coastal surveillance sites and air defence systems.
