Afghanistan, April 3 -- UNICEF has raised fresh concern over the legal and social condition of women and girls in Afghanistan, warning that restrictions on education and work are creating long-term harm that will be felt far beyond the current crisis. The agency says these policies are not only damaging daily life, but also weakening the ability of women and girls to face future challenges safely and independently.
