Afghanistan, April 10 -- A United Arab Emirates humanitarian organisation said it has delivered 96 tonnes of essential medicines and medical supplies to Afghanistan via a dedicated relief flight, underscoring continued international efforts to address the country's growing health crisis.

The shipment departed from Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai and includes critical assistance coordinated with major global health partners such as the World Health Organization, Medecins Sans Frontieres and UNICEF.

According to officials, the aid is expected to support more than 250,000 people over the next three months, helping sustain essential healthcare services in underserved and crisis-affected communities across Afghanistan.
