Afghanistan, July 20 -- The U.S. military said it completed a ninth consecutive night of strikes on Iranian targets, hitting military facilities as regional tensions remained high.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Monday that U.S. forces completed the ninth consecutive night of strikes against military targets in Iran as part of ongoing operations in the region.

In a statement, CENTCOM said the latest strikes targeted Iranian military command facilities, air defence systems, coastal surveillance sites, naval capabilities, missile and drone launch locations, and communication networks.
