Afghanistan, July 1 -- The United States has deployed more than 900 military personnel inside Venezuela and nearly 800 additional troops across the Caribbean to support earthquake relief operations, according to General Francis Donovan.

Reuters reported on Tuesday, June 30, that the U.S. military has also deployed four to five drones over Venezuela to assess road conditions, identify collapsed buildings and support search-and-rescue efforts. Donovan said U.S. forces would remain in the country until the humanitarian mission is completed.
