Afghanistan, March 31 -- Two Chinese cargo ships have managed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz despite ongoing conflict, offering a rare sign of movement through one of the world's most dangerous waterways.

International media reported on Tuesday that two Chinese commercial vessels crossed the Strait of Hormuz a day earlier, despite weeks of conflict and disruption in the Gulf. Ship-tracking data showed the vessels had left the Middle East, becoming among the first non-Iranian commercial ships to make the passage since the war began.
